SUMMARY
The Teller will complete payments and assist customers with inquiries while providing excellent customer service.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· None.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Take payments and verify borrower information is correct when applying funds for each transaction.
· Enters transactions in the company recordkeeping system, recording all transactions and producing customer receipts.
· Evaluates checks and money orders to verify endorsements, dates, identification of person initiating payment, company name, and overall legality of the documents.
· Calculates daily transactions using appropriate technology.
· Balances all payments in drawer at the end of the shifts.
· Accepts and counts inventories of debit slips, money orders, and cashier checks each day.
· Assists customers over the phone when making telephone payments.
· Assists with inquiries regarding lot pricing and location.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent math skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
· Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.
